A standard 5.3L V-8 engine with direct injection and Active Fuel Management provides 355 horsepower and the segment's best fuel economy at 23 mpg highway. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, featuring TapShift control, Tow/Haul mode and Auto Grade Braking. Combined with the available Max Trailering Package, Tahoe has a maximum towing capability of up to 8,600 pounds to tow boats, and ATVs.
The Chevy Tahoe delivers a quiet, controlled ride and improved steering and braking feel. Tahoe's strong, fully boxed, perimeter frame supports payload and trailering capability that body-frame-integral crossovers and SUVs can't match.
Inside, an available soft touch leather-appointed interior surrounds the driver with premium amenities. Cabin refinements include an acoustic-laminated windshield and inlaid doors with triple seals to reduce outside noise. Tahoe offers up to seven USB ports, a 110-volt three-prong outlet, an available wireless charging station, and an available OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi connection. Fold-flat second- and third-row seats enhance cargo convenience -- including an available power-folding feature.
Standard front and side-impact airbags for driver and front passenger with front-center airbag and head curtain side-impact airbags are equipped in all rows.
Forward Collision Alert, Safety Alert Driver Seat, IntelliBeam headlamps with automatic high-beam control, Lane Keep Assist and Low Speed Forward Automatic Braking are standard on LT and Premier. They are included on LS with the available Enhanced Driver Alert Package.
